Delivering a global message to improve regional success

Understanding the opportunity
Our leading international hotel client wanted to host an event, for their Middle Eastern and African management team, to deliver their global message, drive discussion and create debate. Their goal was to empower attendees to implement global thinking into their regional businesses.

BE Vivid Thinking
Working closely alongside our client and their marketing agency, we employed a process which enabled us to deconstruct the client’s requirements then reconstruct them in a format that enabled: call and response; dialogue to influence personal commitments; drive brand advocacy; and generate valuable insights. Our client needed a way to ask questions and encourage their audiences to respond and debate. Under their campaign theme, the global message needed to be ubiquitous and clear.

The perfect solution
Individuals led sessions in which audiences were encouraged and able to have their say. There were no physical barriers at all, creating a two-way, hands-on workshop feel throughout. During each session, audiences were able to move around, change seats, approach each other and absorb the messaging displayed via the screens all around them. This relaxed format instantly created connections and any language barriers were naturally overcome because people were learning through participation. The entire event was interspersed with networking opportunities and space to connect including hosting an exhibition at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The highlights of the social occasions were the gala dinner and an informal evening at the Durban Country Club..

Evaluating the Impact
Everything about this event involved conversations and the resulting high scores in terms of post-event analysis, has proved that the way in which this event was delivered was key to its success.
